Our Leather

A story of tradition, sustainability, and the pursuit of perfection

Finnish Heritage

Our leather is sourced from ethical tanneries in Finland, a country with a rich tradition of leatherworking dating back centuries. The pristine Nordic environment and commitment to sustainability create ideal conditions for producing some of the world's finest hides.

We work exclusively with family-run tanneries that have perfected their craft over generations, ensuring every hide meets our exacting standards for quality, consistency, and ethical production.

Vegetable Tanning

We use only vegetable-tanned leather — a traditional, chemical-free process that uses natural tannins from tree bark, leaves, and fruits. This ancient technique takes months to complete but produces leather with unmatched character and longevity.

Leather Patina Development

Living Material

Unlike chrome-tanned leather, our vegetable-tanned hides are a living material that ages beautifully over time. Each scratch, mark, and color shift tells the story of your adventures together.

The natural tannins allow the leather to breathe and develop a rich patina — a lustrous surface character that deepens with use. Your piece will become more beautiful and unique to you with every passing year.
